Edzecutor Posted December 28, 2023 Posted December 28, 2023 (edited) I use Logitech x56 throttle + stick. Today I tried P-40E-1 plane for the first time and found out that the positiong of the elevator trim in game is not aligned with a rotary assigned to it. It turns out that the positive and negative values are disproportionately distributed, with one taking up ~1/4 of the rotation range and the other ~3/4. To put it simply 0% in game is not aligned with the center position of the rotary. This is not a hardware problem, I swapped the rotary assigned to the rudder and elevator trimmers and the picture is the same. The rudder trimmer works fine, but the elevator trimmer does not. It also works, as I expected, on I-16, Mig-3 and Hurricane airplanes. Is this expected behavior and has something to do with the actual P-40E-1 aircraft or is this a bug? It looks very strange. Edzecutor Posted December 28, 2023 Author Posted December 28, 2023 Also if a rotary is assigned to the aileron trim axis it doesn't work, keyboard bindings work fine. The same, it's not a hardware problem, the same rotary assigned to any other axis works fine.

Aileron trim in the P-40 was controlled by a 3-position electrical switch, hence why it doesn't work with rotaries. 1
