Sim won't load?

For some reason I'm getting a fault when trying to load the sim, it says "error 10500 there is a new version of the game please install it". I did the update on steam a couple days ago, so I'm at a loss as to what new version it's referring to, but it won't get past the load screen. Anybody know what the heck is going on? 

Got it figured out! Cleared the cache, restarted Steam and it's loading the update again, hopefully right this time!
