stick unworkable

I've been using a Thrustmaster for a couple of years without a problem. Since the latest update, the game will no longer recognize the stick.   I have several other flight simulators, COD, etc., all of which accept the Thruster. I've uninstalled and reinstalled Great Battles and had no luck. I'm unable to affect the settings for pitch or roll. Any ideas greatly appreciated.
