Greetings. I'm a long time sim pilot new to the game looking for squad and/or people to fly with.

I started with F19 and SWOTL back in the day. Started multiplayer with Air Warrior DOS. Moved to Aces High for many years. Did some warbirds and WW2 online as well.

 

I have BOS and BOK and I plan to get BOB during the next sale as I don't have much in the way of late war planes.

 

Still working on getting SRS and stuff setup in VR.

 

I'm on Texas time but I sometimes fly very early or very late too.

I had a question for squads in general. As I'm new to this sim I have a limited number of planes available. How would squads handle if a member doesn't have a plane available that they are flying.

 

Also, outside of squad events are there any restrictions on aircraft type etc? The reason I ask this as I mostly have been flying the German planes due to the reduced workload regarding engine management.

With TP, we fly a new campaign every 8-16 weeks, This campaign will feature a specific a/c. You would be expected to purchase the relevant add-on to fly the relevant a/c. Outside of Ops, you can fly whatever a/c you want to in Tuesday or Friday nights (with TP). It would be best to purchase the complete set of add-ons at some point.
