[solved] New VKB (device) not regognized by game.

Hello,

I installed a new throttle quadrant (GNX Dual THQ + SEM-V Combo).

when I start the game, I have the message saying a new device is found and I am asked if I want to map setting of an old controller. Wether I yes or cancel, I have the same problem.

When I try to map buttons to action in the keys setting, I cannot set a thing. Setting gui stays with a "?" and no button mapped for this new device. With an existing device (main throttle), no problem.

 

What can I do to solve this problem of unrecognizes device ?
Note that the new device does not show up in device.txt.

Solution :

delete the contents of the folder " [Game folder]\updates"

delete file " [Game folder]\data\input\devices.txt"

 

I think that, in my case, deleting the "devices.txt" would have been enough.

Is it all working in VKBDevCfg? I did check my S-TECS module in there first and then in my flightsims IL-2 & DCS.

Only problem is that IL-2 has this button limitation.

Yes, I have checked in VKBDevcfg, it is ok. I have less than 64 buttons for this device.

IL2 does not see the DX buttons and axes. If I program one button to send a keyboard character, the keyboard char is seen but not the dx button.
