Operation Uranus has commenced. The Third Romanian Army, along with their German liaison are getting hit hard. A German Hauptmann becomes a prisoner. Due to severe weather, Steiner was unable to launch any relief missions until late in the afternoon and the runway conditions were abysmal. Despite taking heavy losses The Third Romanian along with the German liaisons were able to stall the Soviet offensive......for now.
