HanriotHD1: bullets not so effective?

Are the HanriotHD1's machine-gun bullets less effective? I really like this plane, but IMO you can spend 10m pumping lead in to a boogieman before anything happens.

More than with other ww1 planes maybe ....

It kills than any other plane.

Maybe 11 mm balloon gun should be more effective, but this effects all planes equipped with that gun
