Barkhorn1x Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 I “repurposed” a 32” Samsung TV as my “new” PC Monitor. And I am stuck on 1366x768 rez which kinda sucks as I was getting 1920x1080 out of my old 24” monitor. The TV is about 5 years old. So…: - Am I missing a setting? - Is this TV too big? What’s typical size these days? - Should I just buy a new monitor? Feel free to offer suggestions. (This is not at all my area of expertise, so thanks in advance.)
Rafcio Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 Most likely your TV has a resolution of 1366x768. Check type the model into google. If so, you will have to buy a monitor or TV if you also want to watch TV without using a computer. If not, buy a monitor. Of course, choose the size according to your flying position, e.g. the distance to the screen. Resolution according to your graphics card. I recommend a monitor with a 21:9 aspect ratio for the flight simulator. If you previously had a 24-inch monitor, I recommend a 34-inch 1440p monitor.
Monty_Thrud Posted December 10, 2023 Posted December 10, 2023 On mine its in Nvidia control panel(right click desktop)>change resolution....or win 10 settings>display...?
