jollyjack Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 Turn off game mode in Windows (10) settings: https://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/call-of-duty-warzone-league-of-legends-freezing-windows-10-game-mode/ 1
kestrel79 Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 I used to do this in W10, and I think it helped. Does Game Mode work any better in Windows 11? I think I have it turned on right now with my new PC. On my old rig I always thought IL2 looked a little choppy, even when locked at 60fps...on my new PC with a gsynch monitor it finally looks and runs smooth to me. I always in the past ran 1080p 60hz monitors. First time getting a nice gaming monitor and it's so much better, really worth it.
Hopper64 Posted January 27, 2024 Posted January 27, 2024 I think disabling game mode in W11 has helped the minor stutters I am seeing occasionally. I the QMB, when the game first loads, there is a pause and then there may be a stutter occasionally. Disabling game mode seems to have helped the subsequent stuttering. It’s not terribly bad but noticeable. Anyone with similar experience? Thanks.
