Fullscreen mode performance?

Hey guys, are there any advantages and disadvanges in using Fullscreen mode?

And while at it do you Disable fullscreen optimizations for il2sturmovik?

Way back I remember people saying that Fullscreen did cost you a few fps...I have no idea now in the current build of the game. But I run full screen now and don't see any difference really.

 

I think it's still a thing but if you hide the GUI and icons it will give you an fps boost.
