  If you look closely,

What you see in the capture is the propeller turning.
In Claes Sundins profiles we only see one view of the plane because there are no images or pictures of the other side.
We have to imagine it to make the skin and KOHTYP knows what I am talking about.

I'm a fan since the beginning even if i don't often post to thank you (shame on me...)

your productions are my favorite by far.

They are the reason why I still play this game. I'm sure i'm not the only one

Lol you may be right, but  the gray stripe (background) in his message probably means that he used a translator and inserted the reformatted text directly from the online translator window IMHO

OK fair but that doesn’t explain why he wouldn’t just tell the other guy what the error in the skin was. I mean in the year 2025 nobody needs another mystery to solve lol

The only difference I can see between the profile and Julian's skin is that Julian's skin has full green paint on the engine cowling between the cockpit and the MG's, where as the profile has some grey there too

David, comparing Julian's skin to the profile, I see 3 other differences - only 2 of which were addressed in KOHTYP's version.

 

1. Yellow band and rudder are too bright and lemony on Julian's skin. 

2. Angle of the chevron marking was not acute enough on Julian's skin, making it's rear edge too tall in reference to the fuselage cross.

3. Underwing antenna is not red and white striped in the profile. Neither Julian nor KOHTYP spotted this.

 

Regardless, both did nice work on their skins.

Colour shades are up for interpretation often. You're right otherwise. One thing I'll add that both of them missed on their skins : this bit of paint/weathering near this circular pannel, near the tail

I feel like we are nitpicking a lot though. Julian's skins are great.

Always lovely to see more Ju 88 C-6.

 

I found another one, plain but elegant in my opinion. I like the solid grey upper surface. It is rather unusual, and frankly probably inaccurate. But even with the standard RLM 70/71/65 splinter camouflage, the big chevron bar is a striking feature not commonly seen on C-6s.

 

Just in case you want some ideas.

Stab/ZG1 looks very good indeed! I like the look.

 

It should not have the night fighter wing insignia, though. I think the Ju 88s of ZG1 did not use insignia (and they certainly did not use NJG's insignia).

But let's not forget the most important part: thanks.

Nice, thank you! I liked the look of the solid upper surface a bit better but the splinter camouflage is most likely the accurate choice. (It is a bit weird to me that they flew this camouflage, which was obviously designed for use over the European land mass, for years over the Bay of Biscay. But then Germany did not even have a proper naval aviation, so why would they have naval aviation camo patterns?).

 

Anyway, I am very happy to see that you devote so much time to this gem of an airplane.  🫡
