Exit Game hangs

When exiting the game it never finishes the shutdown but instead hangs up the display and the mouse pointer. 

It does not seem to matter if using campaign or multiplayer. In fact just starting the game and exiting out once inside seems to do this violation as well.

 

Is this a common problem?

 

Started happening about 2 weeks ago.
