steam vr overlay

any idea how to stop this chaps ?  a steam overlay that does not respond to mouse input ,

controllers not switched on as flying in vr and does not use controllers 

comes up random when starting in vr 

 

cannot find a setting to get rid ? or key command to remove ?

It took me a long time to figure that one out...

I think it was the second setting.

Yes, for the English speakers the "VR Dashboard on System Button" option needs to be OFF in the Dashboard settings of SteamVR. That one drove me nuts for a few weeks aswell.
