Now you don't see this everyday... onboard, take off and landing in the F.E.8... unlike the F.E.2B, this aeroplane had a rotary engine.

(Although I'd say this one hasn't got a rotary installed).

Ok, this has been moved, I should have put it in the FC forum where all the WWI stuff is, can it get moved again to there please...

According to Wiki it had a 'modern air-cooled, horizontally opposed engine'

Currently on loan at the Smithsonian apparently.
