VKB Gladiator ww2 combat joystick

I just purchased VKB ww2 joystick, finally. I have not received it yet  but it looks very complicated and doing my best to shove the info in my brain. For any pilot that has this joystick you know what i mean. I think i'm going to have a heck of a time understanding the Process to get a airplane in the air.  For anyone out there could you kindly get me to any simple instructions on how to operate VKB ww2 joystick. I'm a old USAF flyer and it would be great to get a p-47, p-51, in the air. Thumbs up and happy flying. Thank you very much. Mark..

you be fine and dandy. Got it all, brakes, twist grip for rudder and a nice kg 12 look to it. Even got trims.
