ACG_PanzerVI Posted November 13, 2023 Posted November 13, 2023 Cannot get SRS for IL2 to work. Had done so previously a long time ago - worked fine. Version 1.0.1.4. Ensured I set the startup.cfg per the IL2 forum post. It appears to function. I get the basic Client window up. Set both mic and audio to my Reverb G2 which is labeled, (Realtek USB2.0 Audio). Nothing heard when I do 'audio preview.' I can see the bar moving when I speak, so presumably mic is working. Also get a small momentary side tone (a beep) when I connect to the server, but no sound for the radio. Tried every audio output on my system, but no sound. How to troubleshoot further?
FlyToLive Posted October 22 Posted October 22 Not sure, but it seems like the audio preview does not work like the "test" function one would expect. Instead, the audio preview plays back (previews?) whatever is input to the microphone. So, if you don't say anything, you won't hear anything. But, this is just a theory at this point.
