Tilanguinho_Punx Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 I am trying opencomposite, but if I try to add the IL2.exe on the oculus app library, it got to a login screen in IL2, and since it uses the steam login I do not have a password. I thought of changing the password here on the IL2 page, but I do not have an original password to change, since it uses steam credentials My question is, even if I use SteamVr to launch the game, would it still runs with OpenComposite? I noticed some FPS difference after I activated OpenComposite, but the fact that I had to open it through SteamVr left me in doubt. TIA!
Argosafe Posted November 12, 2023 Posted November 12, 2023 Have you used the open composite exe and selected Open Composite? Steam shouldn't play any part in anything if you have done this.
Tilanguinho_Punx Posted November 12, 2023 Author Posted November 12, 2023 Yes, selected open composite, and now started getting the same errors again (even after the DLL fix from this topic https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic/86054-open-xr-call-failed-error-help/ ). Now, the only workaround Is to open Oculus AirLink (No virtual desktop) selcting the Steam VR through AirLink, and them opening IL2, that makes the game to Start with OpenComposite and OpenXR tools working. I would like to be able to just use Virtual Desktop and start the game, but them I get that Open Composite error again.
Tilanguinho_Punx Posted November 12, 2023 Author Posted November 12, 2023 Using AirLink is fine, but I have to open SteamVR on it. Any way I can save my steam login ID for IL2 somewhere so I can open IL2 without having to open it through steam?
