If they do,which one ?

And are they having fun ?

If you're a dev or know a dev, I'd like to know the answer.

Non dev experience isn't the answer I'm looking for and I'll spare you mine, but thanks for reading.?

I used to play with Han back in the day when the game was In Early Access on the official 1CGS server.

I tend to play either content that is fairly recent or something that I've not touched in a while, so right now that means a Li-2 career on the Moscow map and a Spitfire artillery spotting career on the Normandy map. After that? Probably the Mosquito, since I've not flown it a lot and the career mission set for it is more complete now.

Thanks for answering.

Are you always in the "playtesting" mentality or do you manage to feel immersed ?

Once I've gone through and added the skins I tend to play it a lot more. I've been playing a lot of eastern front careers at the minute since I've been working on making the skins for them. Last couple I've been dipping into regularly are with the Il-2 in Stalingrad, as well as a U2 career (really like artillery spotting in that thing) and Spitfires in Kuban.

Both, really. ? I definitely choose something I think I will enjoy, but at the same time I'm looking out for things that might not be right.

Funny you mention that. I have been working on the same skins but it's for a scripted campaign with Tactical ID letters and not Career mode. I play careers when I can but it's hard to find the time.

Hah, well, maybe we should match file names or something on that version of the skin, reduce a little bit of file bloat if someone is using both my mod and your campaign.

That's OK, it will be in the game as a blank skin and it's someone else's Campaign.

I thought about using the lightning flash design, but there is a bit of confusion about what it really looked like and it appears to be an individual plane marking, not a squadron thing.

The all play PWCG.  :)

I could understand this, because PWCG is fantastic, and its ability to produce coop makes it a must use.

I was wondering on the career, though, because it comes directly with the sim, and have the intro on phases of battle.

To be really honest, I'd love to know if Viks play it sometimes, and has fun with it, since, if I understood well, he's the one designing missions.

I'd like to know how he likes flying a typhoon free hunt mission for 45 minutes over normandy, not meeting any ennemy or friendly, which is probably quite realistic, with those typhoon flying echelon right of 8 planes, as every other german or russian squadron (which is most likely unrealistic, but who am I to write it ?), not saying a word (which is probably realistic when no plane is met).

Or if he enjoys when his squadron is being slaughtered in a few seconds with little to no reaction, which probably realisticly happened sometimes. I remember him from VEF times as  an online super ace, so he probably still is able to fight successfully alone vs 8 ennemy AIs. But does he enjoy it ?

There have been great efforts at designing a realistic frame for this missions, having the right squadrons at the right airfield at the right time, having great historical video introductions, having plausible front lines... but do devs enjoy the missions produced by the generator ? LukeFF does, so that's good. But do the ones who design the missions do ?

German fighters do show up still over Normandy, but now it's more dependent on the settings you choose before generating the mission - and there is a randomness factor in play.

I must say that I've played PWCG and the default career extensively in ground attack role and I have to say that in the end I prefer the allied stock career, as it is  more polished in Normandy/Rhineland (squadrons, airfields, targets, front movements, medals, interface, mission goals, etc). Especially since the last patch it has become much more playable and enjoyable experience with more realistically reduced luftwaffe presence. PWCG is a must for coop and maybe it is better with fighter career, its scalability is also great, but for ground attack, the stock career is pretty solid and stable - I can definitely recommend it.

I am more or less meeting the same porblem with my 355 FS career in April 1944

I set difficulty to ennemy air superiority and density to "high" and I met 2 FW190A6 in Bomber donifguration and 1 Ju52 in 3 missions, including to bomber escort missions which were not intercepted !
