ACG_Bussard Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Naturally, especially at the online servers, there is most little time to find out all details of an approaching target for an optimal target solution (such as altitude, speed, dive and deflection angle). Therefore I would be interested in your experience, which speed adjustments have proven and established themselves over time. If you have different adjustments for bombers, attackers, fighter bombers / fighters it would be great if you could share them here. Thanks a lot!
ShampooX Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 I don't even use the the pivoted ring sight anymore. But when I did I set it at 120m. I get far more aa kills just looking above the armor plating and using the in-game white reticle that shows up on my screen. It's easier to judge the fall of the rounds to the moving target that way. Call it Kentucky Windage. PS you won't hit ---- more than 1,500m out. Shooting at a target further out only gives away your pos to his buddies. Life ends quickly. 1
ACG_Bussard Posted October 31, 2023 Author Posted October 31, 2023 Thank you for the tip to aim with a view "over the visors". With a little tweaking of the sight settings I was able to get some hits on small fighters and fighter bombers in the AQME missions. The speed adjustment of 120 m/s is a great starting point. I learned also today that this was recommended in historical documents as the rest position of the 2 cm light flak.
