Li-2- A worthwhile purchase?

Hello, been wondering whether or not to purchase the Li-2 since it looks like quite the neat little piece, with para drops, supply runs, and bombings. Just not 100% on it since I'll be buying the LA-5F no doubt too, and that is 40 dollars... what do you boys think?

If it's one or the other, I'd get the Li-2, there is already two variants of the La-5 in game already.

It is a slow c47 with ability to bomb. What can possibly be wrong

For me the Li-2 is an interesting plane, because especially the engine management is interesting for me. Different radiators and mixture than in the C-47, The autopilot works similarly but not exactly the same (two knobs are swapped?), and in addition to the cargo hatch, a door that can be opened during flight to drop loads. Together with the gunner positions make the aircraft unique and fun to fly.

The Li-2 is a lot of fun to fly in career mode - especially the nighttime missions. Besides trying to navigate your way in the dark, you have to be on your guard for 110s that are out to ruin your day (erm, night ?). It's a fine balance between flying above the clouds to see where you are going vs being low enough to find your drop zone without being pinged by enemy AAA.

Li-2 career mode at night is surprisingly fun! 

Besides all custom missions that can be made, career mode for this plane is interesting. (I am a little bit biased towards night ops, which you will get a lot )
