=LD=Bulldog* Posted March 16, 2024 Posted March 16, 2024 I don't get too much of a feeling on being on the verge of a stall, but when you are in a stall, you know it. I have all the settings up to 90 per cent and with the engine rumble, undercarriage, guns, flaps, etc., it certainly adds to the immersion factor. It's a little uncomfortable for long periods, however. The pad is also not anti-social for those downstairs unlike the Buttkicker, which I had to get shot of. I certainly do not regret in buying the pad and Andre's software. Andre is also super helpful. I hope that helps! Bulldog 1
-332FG-brooklynspo Posted May 15, 2024 Posted May 15, 2024 (edited) HF8 users: I suggest trying this out: It works via the audio input so everything is in "mono" but it activates all eight of the HF8's transducers. The vibrations feel very realistic, the author has customized the engines and guns for nearly all IL-2 aircraft. You can control the levels for 11 different aircraft events. It also adds vibrations for "Hits Received"which really gets your attention! Its free, but that's not why I like it. I tried SimShaker Wings and I think this software gives a more satisfying result with the HF8 pad. Edited May 17, 2024 by -332FG-brooklynspo

One question this is a mod and in your opinion could create problems to join servers online who don t allow mods? I m a Vr user, do you also use VR? 8 minutes ago, ITAF_Rani said: Edited September 17, 2024 by ITAF_Rani
-332FG-brooklynspo Posted September 29, 2024 Posted September 29, 2024 It is not a mod, it works on all servers. Yes, I am a VR user. 1

When you say it works via audio, does that mean it doesn’t use the game’s telemetry to produce the effects? Will the software work with both the HF8 and a buttkicker at the same time? -332FG-brooklynspo Posted October 19, 2024 Posted October 19, 2024 It uses game telemetry but outputs via audio, not usb. You should be able to split the audio output to use HF8 and buttkicker at the same time.

=LD=Bulldog* Posted December 25, 2024 Posted December 25, 2024 Hello! With regards to the HF8 and Andre's software, I have everything ramped up to 100 per cent with ForceFeel Gain and Bass-shaker(s) gain such as Engine Beat, Engine Boost, Landing Gear, Flaps, G-Force, Speed Air Brake, Ground Bumps, Gun Fire, Payload Discharge, Stall, Damage, Pitching Motion, Rolling Motion, etc. However, I guess this is overkill and too much vibrations at once. If so, may I ask on your settings so that I can tinker? With very best wishes, =LD= Bulldog
=THORN=Sphere- Posted January 24 Posted January 24 (edited) Hi Bulldog. Mine arrived today and I've only played with the trial version but turning it up full is the last thing you want to do as it does kind of merge everything into one. I've pretty much left it at default but switched engine shake 30% Guns 100% Damage 100% Stall 70% Geforce 80% Everything else at 50% Set the hf8 control up to max (red. This I found gave a good mix between the sensations. For example, engine shake at 100% will just cover up anything else pretty much due to it running consistently.. Have fun. ACG_Bussard Posted March 14 Posted March 14 Has anyone had any experience or success connecting the HF8 Haptic pad to the PC via the jack plug for the micro / headphone? And does the connection via the jack plug work with both HF8 haptic software and / or Andre's sim shaker software? Thanks in advance for sharing your experiences.

With the SimShaker Wings software it will work for sure. You can use the demo mode to try it out. Edited March 14 by Andre 1
SARFlytitus Posted May 25 Posted May 25 My setup with NLR HF8 and buttkicker coupled with SimShaker Wings Beta 2.21 and HF8 Addon module by Andre works perfectly , also Andre support is top notch. Now I'm a happy camper !!! 1
FlyinCoffin Posted June 19 Posted June 19 (edited) They updated to a hf8 "pro" for around 250 bucks right? I heard IT makes you feel then fun Could we simulate in then Future the holes bullets make in the body to get A more immersive sim Play? Edited June 19 by FlyinCoffin
ACG_Bussard Posted July 4 Posted July 4 Since SimShaker Wings version 2.21, individual presets are now possible for each aircraft type (Advanced options > Automatic AC Type Presets). I would be interested to know whether you use this function and which aircraft-specific settings you have made and why. I would also be interested to know whether you generally make differences between WW2 (BoX) and WW1 (FC) aircraft and the reasons why. I would be happy to receive feedback and suggestions. 2
