Keybinding for Thrustmaster 16000 and throttle

I am struggling to make the keybindings work for il2 in my new Thrustmaster 16000 joystick and throttle. (I could do this fine without problems for msfs where  they work excellent).

It is quite hard.

Isnt there a way to import settings from people that use T16000 to save time and energy?

And can anyone share such a file with me, if that is possible.

I do not use headtrackning so i need to keep camera and pilot head controls on throttle and joystick. But I cant figure out how to do that in the best possible way.

I tried to map. Could not do some stuff. Reset and now it is a mess.

One of the things i struggle with is that there is something registered as a joystick on both the throttle and my joystick. I cant change that to the joystick. (And i cant map anything new on the throttle "joystick". With the throttle i have the opposite problem: it is on my joystick and i cant move it to the throttle.

And when i try to bind stuff it does not work, or it works 15 minutes after I have bound it.

I had some kind of predefined settings that made it pssoible to move the camera in my first attempt to change keybinds. It disappeared when i reset but now my throttle "joystick" allows me to zoom in when i click on it. LOL!

You have disabled mouse control in-game right? Its a must.

 

Another idea.  Have you tried disconnecting ALL other peripherals, like the throttle/pedals etc, and just connect the t1600000 with basic flight control axes. Ie pitch,  roll,  yaw. 

Game shouldn't get confused then.

If that works OK, then you can add the throttle and reassign the axis for that. When that's working start doing the other buttons.

 

There's a file that holds all these joysticks/assignments. Not sure what its called, but you should back up your data/input folder regularly to keep all your binds safe.

I am taking a rest. I think you have a point. I should reinstall il2 and then add joystick first and fix it. Then throttle. I think the problem i have now exists because i assume it works to plug both in.

 

I got it to work somewhat when i reinstalled earlier and only the joystick was plugged in. But then i got trouble with the throttle instead and that thing called joystick did not work. Then i reinstalled again with both plugged in and throttle joystick made my joystick dead as stone, except for the throttle, the only thing that worked on my joystick.

 

I will try that tonight.
 

it is shared functions that does not work. Joystick and throttle. Problem in one of the shared instances so that it becomes ”prioritized” and one cant do anything with the other.

I tried to verify files on steam. The result - that neither joystick nor throttle works. Totally dead.

Uninstalling and reinstalling.
