Joystick not working in COD

New PC  - WIN11

New installation of steam

I have run the joystick configurator in the COD app successfully

But in the game the joystick does not work

 

Is there something I need to configure for Steam?

 

Looked through some of the threads but I can't fathom out what the issue is

What Joystick and does it show working in the control panel?

Hi Dave,

 

could you post your confUser.ini file here?

It should be in the 1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover folder in your Documents folder.

 

And except the Steam options mentioned by LLv34_Flanker below, check also if you have Steam Cloud disabled. If it is enabled, disable it.

First of all disable Steam controller settings in Steam. Has caused issues as well as Steam overlay or any overlay of that matter. 

 

I did test the configurator, but had some issues with it and mapped straight in game. GUI is what it is, but easily enough could map and save profiies for planes I fly. Easy to load them when needed.
