DFLion_1944_'Green Hearts'_Fw190D-9_Mission 3 and 3B

Back again with the Luftwaffe. This is another ‘Green Hearts’ JG54 Fw190D-9 mission, though I have made it into 2 missions.

The first (Mission 3) is following Oblt. Hans Dortenmann with his 12 Staffeln defending Achmer and protecting his three Kommando Nowotny ‘Turbo’s’ taking-off and landing, against Mustangs from the 352^nd FG.

 

The second (Mission 3B) is following Oblt. Willy Heilmann with his 9 Staffeln defending Hesepe and protecting his three Kommando Nowotny ‘Turbo’s’ taking-off and landing, against Thunderbolts from the 56^th FG.

 

These missions have been remade and upgraded from my older missions. Allied Dutch B25 bombers are heading for the city of Rheine to bomb the railway marshalling yards. Maj. Nowotny launches his Me262 ‘Turbo’s’ to attack the bombers.
