German gunsight magnification

In real life, Panther and other german tanks have a 2X and 5X gunsight magnification: is it available in TC (if so, how switch among them)?

It's available, but through a mod.

I'm in VR, and I'm not sure if it can works properly. I used VREM because I understand that it is requested for make the mod words. However, the stock magnification seems unchanged, the only thing that works is the zooming. Maybe I miss something... thank for any help.

I am not sure, if the first version of the Panther already had 5x magnification. The first Tiger version didn't.

The Ferdinand, though, surely should have.

What is defintely missing, is the scissors periscope for the gun commander of the Stug and most likely the Ferdinand as well.

Yes, the base game lets you zoom from approximately 2x to 5x for the Panther. (Depends on your monitor's default FOV to define what 1x is)
