IL-2 Possition of Pilots head can't change

So theres a video floating around on the forum here showin you how to change pilots head.

 

I turn off trackir - head is completely still. I press Home Key.. Nothing I press End key nothing.

 

Checked my controls - all of the head possition controls are mapped to those keys yet nothing will make his head move.

 

Any ideas would be great - thanks guys!

here is how I do it.  I get into the game as I normally would with Trakir on.  Then I hit the F 9.Then use the home keys etc. to get the pilot head where I want it.  Then hit F10 to save that position.  Finally I hit F9 to turn Trakir back on.  Then I get shot down.... again.

haha yeah its funny you know - I tried this.. appears to do nothing. What a mess.

This method works for many people.  Have you mapped your trakir differently?  Because i am pretty sure the trakir on/off key is mappabale by trakir software and not BoS software.

when my trackIR is deactivated. Home, End, Delete, Insert and such dont do a thing. Even though they are mapped?
