JG1 is proud to present the next ACME event: Aces Over Crimea

Aces Over Crimea, presented by ACME (the events subsidiary of JG-1), is a progressive, economy-based, semi-historical campaign involving combined arms operations. Join either the Soviet or Axis air and ground forces in their battle for the Crimean peninsula beginning in Spring 1942. 

 

Details / Rules can be found at the ACME Discord server https://discord.gg/QcQ2AcwZhz. Look in the #event-rules channel located in the INFO section.
 
Open practice sessions will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10 October to 19 October at 0100 UTC, and there will be a dry run on Saturday 21 October at 1800 UTC. Comms will be on the ACME Discord server in the |ACME Lounge #1 voice channel.

 

The campaign will go live on 28 October, and will run on Saturdays from 28 October at 1800 UTC to 18 November. Please note that local time changes in Europe (29 October) and North America (5 November) may affect local start times after the first mission; these will be updated as necessary on the ACME Discord server.

 JG1's ACME "Aces over Crimea" event is coming soon!  There will be a dry run this Saturday October 21st, at 1800 UTC/2:00pm EDT.

 This will be run as a full mission to familiarize players with tournament play, but results will not count towards the campaign, which officially starts the following Saturday, Oct. 28th.

JG1's ACME "Aces over Crimea" goes "Live" this Saturday! 

This event is strictly player vs. player (with minor exceptions in AI supply columns, trains, ships and AI guns / tanks at capture points. The guns / tanks are not mobile). 

The success of this event is highly dependent on player participation. Last Saturday's dry run attendance was low, therefore for maximin team play, it will require your attendance. Especially tankers. 

Registration is encouraged, for team balance, but all are welcome and will be included.

There have not been many events well attended recently in IL2 Great Battles (with the possible exception of JG5s Black September) and there are discussions in the community that online events are currently in a downward spiral. 

Come join us and prove that wrong!

  The Front Lines have shifted, All cargo's and supplies delivered.
The battle continues!
 Round 2 now goes Tactical! Both the Allied and Axis have lost and gained.  In varying aspects
of their Forces, and their supplies.

  The Tankers and the Ground war has shifted North.
 Pilots and their Air Forces, are fighting both tactical, and for regional air supremacy.
  This battle continues!

  The Front Lines have shifted again. Both sides incurred and received damage during the last session. 

 

Additional personnel are needed on both sides in order to prosecute the enemy.
