Stutters in singleplay when encountering multiple AI - help wanted

First of all: Not sure which forum this should go in to, so Luke you are most welcome to move this topic to a more appropriate place.

But the title really says it all: I have begun to experience rather massive stuttering when multiple bogeys are in the area. I haven't noticed that before. It's like stuttering has replaced time dilation in my case.

I've been searching the forums, but the posts I find are either related to stutter in VR or in multiplayer. Not singleplayer.

Has anyone had stutterproblems in singleplayer - and did you fix it?
