Holman Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 I'd love to pre-order, but I'll need to see if my system can handle the game. Right now I can't seem to find any specific information about system requirements. Is this out there somewhere? For an estimate, how does this game compare to Rise of Flight in system requirements? If I can run that one with items turned up, will I be able to run BOS with decent settings? Thanks!

Holman Posted July 29, 2013 Author Posted July 29, 2013 (edited) Great! I was worried that the BOS engine would be much more taxing than ROF. Thanks. Edited July 29, 2013 by Holman
AX2 Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Some months ago, I test ROF, Win xp 32 vs Win 7 64. Runs great in Win 7 64 In Win xp ROF run worst . In the same Desktop PC
Spag Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 Hello Everbody, My first post in BoS. though I have been in RoF for awhile. I was also wondering whether my old clunker would run BoS, but it seems that it probably will. I think I now need to decide whether to go the full monty and pre-order from the top shelf or not. Good to see that this forum looks like being just as amazingly helpful as RoF's forum is. Cheers, Spag.
dburne Posted July 29, 2013 Posted July 29, 2013 My system build is app 3 years old, and it runs ROF beautifully and I expect it will run BOS very well. I am currently overclocked at 4 ghz. Normally I do a new system build about every 3 years, however this system seems to be holding up well and running anything I do without any problems. By the time of release, I will probably have a little more ram, and maybe a 660 or 680 video card. Perhaps a new build later in 2014, unless BOS surprises me and needs a little more umph...
AX2 Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 (edited) I have some experience in RoF Maybe.. An I5 2500 or I5 3550 and nvidia 660 2G should be right for high settings, and 8GB DDR3 RAM. ( if you use a single monitor ) An AMD Phenom II x4 Core or Intel I3 or FX 6-Core Processor and nvidia 460 or 560 1G should be right for medium-high settings, with 4GB DDR3 RAM. But RoF looks spectacular with any setting of graphics also in low graphics settings. A pilot of the squadron play RoF online With Intel Dual core 8400 and Nvidia 8800 Gtx and 4 GB Ram - Win 7 64b He is the best pilot in the squadron, Online it´s a killing machine VGA card chart .. maye it´s help NVIDIA and ATI HD7990 6GB GDDR5 GTX690 4GB GDDR5 GTX TITAN 6GB GDDR5 GTX780 3GB GDDR5 HD6990 4GB GDDR5 GTX590 3GB GDDR5 GTX770 2GB GDDR5 HD7970 GE 3GB GDDR5 GTX680 2GB GDDR5 HD7970 3GB GDDR5 GTX670 2GB GDDR5 HD5970 2GB GDDR5 HD7950 3GB GDDR5 HD7870 XT 2GB GDDR5 GTX660 Ti 2GB GDDR5 GTX580 1536MB GDDR5 HD7870 2GB GDDR5 GTX660 2GB GDDR5 HD6970 2GB GDDR5 GTX570 1280MB GDDR5 GTX480 1536MB GDDR5 HD7850 2GB GDDR5 GTX650 Ti Boost 1GB GDDR5 HD6950 2GB GDDR5 GTX295 1792MB GDDR3 HD4870X2 2GB GDDR5 HD5870 1GB GDDR5 GTX560 Ti 1024MB GDDR5 HD7790 1GB GDDR5 HD6870 1GB GDDR5 GTX470 1280MB GDDR5 HD5850 1GB GDDR5 GTX650 Ti 1GB GDDR5 HD6850 1GB GDDR5 GTX460 1GB GDDR5 GTX285 1GB GDDR3 HD7770 1GB GDDR5 GTX460 768MB GDDR5 HD5830 1GB GDDR5 GTX465 1GB GDDR5 HD4890 1GB GDDR5 GTX275 896MB GDDR3 HD4850X2 2GB GDDR3 GTX280 1GB GDDR3 9800GX2 1GB GDDR3 HD4870 1GB GDDR5 GTX260 core216 896MB GDDR3 HD5770 1GB GDDR5 HD7750 1GB GDDR5 HD4870 512MB GDDR5 GTX260 896MB GDDR3 GTS 450 1GB GDDR5 HD5750 1GB GDDR5 GTS250 1GB GDDR3 HD3870X2 1GB GDDR3/4 9800GTX+ 512MB GDDR3 = GTS250 512MB GDDR3 HD4850 512MB GDDR3 8800Ultra 768MB GDDR3 9800GTX 512MB GDDR3 8800GTX 768MB GDDR3 8800GTS 512MB GDDR3 CPU Chart http://www.anandtech.com/bench/CPU/2 Edited July 30, 2013 by Mustang

Skoshi_Tiger Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Im running an older system at the moment with a 9400 Quad core running at 3.7GHz with 8GB Ram. I and planning to upgrade my graphics card and was thinking of a GTX770 with 4GB of VRAM. (currently running a 1GB GTX460 in memory serves me right) Hopefuly the extra umph will see me through until I upgrade CPU/MB next year.
ATAG_Slipstream Posted July 30, 2013 Posted July 30, 2013 Q6600/ GTX285/ 4 GB ram/ W7 64. Plays RoF very nicely. I will be upgrading to i5 2500k shortly though...
