Pimax Crystal Cliffs over Dover blitz vr beta

I did nothing to try and improve the FPS, these are the same settings I used with my G2, except the resolution is now 3232x3824 per eye. I get around 30fps on average with some dips as I look down on the ground.

 

Motion smoothing was off as that doesn't work right with the pimax yet. And foveated rendering also doesn't work with clod.

 

The video does not do the experience justice. It looks stunning.

 

System is i7 13700kk, 3090, 64 gig DDR5. 

 

Cliffs over Dover blitz vr beta is a work in progress. 

There are a few F bombs( no not focker bombs)

Great that Blitz works with the Crystal! Looks like “target drone” AI mode is alive and well  There is a mod to get DFR working in Great Battles, though IDK how reliable.

Because I record for replay to get external shots. And in the heat of the moment I keep forgetting if I started the track recording.

with your headset, do you think that the VR x monitor barrier  is finally equal?  Like in reverb g2, the quality is good, but those lenses are very hard to spot planes on the corner of your eyes =s

I don't have any experience with 4k monitors. But my pimax is far far superior to my 1440p gaming monitor. Its like night and day.

I've only flown a little in CLOD, but in Il2 it's a huge difference and in DCS, just the 2d loading screens are just so much crisper to look at.
