What was the plan for Ilya Muromets?

First of all, I never knew about Rise of Flight until the autumn of 2016 so anything pertaining to Ilya Muromets' development in 2014, what it was supposed to include beyond the Sikorsky S-22, Sikorsky S-16 and Nieuport 17. RUS, and any future things for it I'm not 100% sure on.

What I do know is that it was originally supposed to be a separate game from Rise of Flight to cover the Eastern Front of WW1, kind of like what Pacific Fighters was back in 2004, it had very much the same game engine (if not the same) as IL-2 Forgotten Battles but was a separate game to cover the PTO.  However, Ilya Muromets was integrated into Rise of Flight and shortly after its release, development for Rise of Flight ceased.

Was there to be a Pilot Career mode for it, more Russian versions of Entente aircraft, Austro-Hungary made aircraft or German planes used by A-H?

I just hope that FC5 or FC6 can cover the Eastern Front of WW1

As far as I know there never was any intention to develop it any further. I was disappointed that there never was a career using the Tarnapol map. I'd love to see Flying Circus be developed well beyond what was in the original Rise of Flight to include an Eastern Front and earlier Western Front series of planes. However given the developers' attitude to FC, I have doubts that they will do much more than a couple of collectors' planes unfortunately.

I think I will be flying ROF for much of the future until FC gets a totally overhauled and effective AI system such as ROF has now with Vons mod. Its vastly superior in AI mechanics and flyables for now.
