Unable to unbind numpad 5 for "Default VR View"

Hello!

 

I am unable to unbind numpad 5 for resetting the VR view. No matter where I remove the numpad 5 bindings, the game will still reset VR view when I press numpad 5. Would like to have that button for engine controls instead!

 

Ideas?

 

 

EDIT: I edited the current.actions and global.actions by removing ALL numpad5 bindings and STILL that damn button resets the VR view... I have a feeling this is hardcoded to the game... 

 

EDIT #2: It's working! Seems it works properly in-game, but not in the menu.

Right.. So I thought it was working, but it actually isn't!!! I could use those god damn numpad keys for something else but I cannot unbind the VR camera reset!!!??? Now I am 100% sure this is a developer mistake.

Sounds like you have been deleting Num 5 in the Sim files.  Does your VR device have a program that may have the Num 5 key assigned to center the view?  I don't use VR, instead I use Opentrack for head tracking and it defaults to F12 to center your head tracking device, so if it conflicts with F12 in the Sim you have to re-set it to some other key.

I'm running IL-2 via SteamVR and F12 is bound to taking screenshots (via Steam itself). I did google if SteamVR has some keys for anything like this but found nothing.
