EMG Quick / Airstart Mission Pack Spitfire IX August 1942 over Netherlands

Hi,

I have created with EMG by Vander a small Quick / Airstart Mission Pack (20 missions) for the Spitfire IX (already included in IL2 GB Bodenplatte).

 

In August 1942 the Spitfire IX was the newest version, designed to fight against the german FW190-A3/A4 fighters.

In the mission pack most missions are Escort Missions for Fighter Bombers / Bombers.

Targets are enemy airfields, radar istallations, coastal batteries, HQs, coastal convoys, S-boots, ... (selected by EMG by random)

 

Required for this mission pack: only  IL2 GB Bodenplatte standard edition.

Because missions / campaigns between 1942 and June 1944 are currently not available for the Bodenplatte / Rhineland Map I have created  a small mod of EMG by Vander with some Airstart Airfields for the allied planes.

With this mod it is possible to create missions with historical correct planes from ca. spring 1941 (Spitire Vb, Hurricane IIC fighter bomber)...from Feb.42 with A20 Boston ...to ca. August 1944. (further IL2 GB modules / collector planes required).

Possible are full axis missions (airfields available) and (sorry) only airstart missions for allied missions.

The missions of this mission pack have been created automatically with random settings, so please don't expect perfect mission design.

Because combat action begins always soon after ca. 5 - 7 minutes you can just try them for fun without wasting much time for endless cruise flights.
