Supercharger Posted September 7, 2023 Posted September 7, 2023 Morning guys, I noticed some differences between S-199 aircraft with Jumo 211F engine. Some of them have an air oil heat exchanger visible on the lower engine cowl, but some did not. Question is where is the oil cooler located on these aircraft, if not on the lower engine cowl?
Roland_HUNter Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Still, it was under the nose, replaced with a heat exchanger: https://www.facebook.com/EduardCompany/photos/a.122154977799458/5727738073907759/?type=3&paipv=0&eav=AfbtH6QjkQGyBL6UqXWFERRaWsiNR6MVWCdOYkdVua-qcriMGSIMwyrJodS4OBJXXbI&_rdr 1
Supercharger Posted September 18, 2023 Author Posted September 18, 2023 That's interesting, nice to know thanks.

Supercharger Posted September 19, 2023 Author Posted September 19, 2023 Do you have some technical backround information about this heat exchanger(oil/water)? I never saw any Jumo211 with this equipment, but its well known from Jumo213. Or is it a "free czech" invention?
