B-17D Restoration/Preservation Update

Yes, it’s great that the National Museum of the US Air Force is restoring that beautiful, historic plane for eventual display.  I chose my username/handle in honor of that aircraft.

Hey !!!

I got to crawl through that plane when it was at Silver Hill.  There was a big bench seat up front.

 

Oh ... and this was Swoosie Kurtz' dad's plane and where her name originates.
