When I host a passworded server, nobody can join, even if they input the password.

Hi there! When I host a passworded server, nobody can join, even if they input the correct password. As soon as I remove the password, everything goes back to normal. Why is this happening and how can I solve the problem?

Are you using the in-game server facility or are you using the DServer?

 

If your using the DServer, did you specify the password to join the server under "Protection", at the top right of the DServer configuration dialog? The "Password" at the top left is for your server to login to the master server so your server appears on the list in-game.

The only thing I can think of is whether the password has upper-case letters that must be typed.

Do your clients receive any error message?

No uppercase. No error message. Just „Please wait...”
