New mission not being seen in game

Edit:  I should say that the 8th mission does save in the folder and I can see it when I open the folder in data/missions/...

But when I'm in the game I cannot see the mission, although missions 1-7 are seen in that folder.

 

I have been making new missions for a new campaign but now the 8th mission cannot be seen when it is in the folder which has missions 1-7.

When the 8th mission is saved outside of that folder, it can be seen in the game.

 

Any ideas on how I can get the 8th mission to go in with missions 1-7?  I'm at a loss.

Try deleting your mtreecache and ctreecache files under data. If that does not work it’s something with the mission name keeping it from appearing. In that case, open it in the mission editor and re-save it with a different name.

Try these steps below.

 

The biggest issue I see with mission start problems is the mission designer set the mission type to not be 'single'. All the other options are either for the auto-generated campaign or for deathmatch.
