2 questions....camela and ai

Hi, just 2 quick questions.

1. Camel keeps switching off engine midair. After some 20 minutes of flight. Any ideas why ? Is there a manual cooler control in Camel ?

2. I flew 2 missions and shot down 2 german albatroses...but both were weird. The pilots just jumped out of the still flying planes....is that normal ?

1. Should not. Chceck the mixture, look at RPMs, no manual cooling - it's cooling itself by air flow.

2. Could be that, do to damage to  controls surfaces like elevator.

Agree with the above.  Would also check your fuel mixture,  and of course fuel supply.  Set your mix to between 75-85% depending on your altitude.   Make sure you have enough fuel for the flight.  Typically 60-80 liters is enough for most flights.  And of course monitor your engine RPM.  At full throttle in level flight, even a slight dive can over rev your engine.

Yes as mentioned above, engine damage and stopping do to over revving. Common on diving with full throttle.

With techno chat enabled you should see  the message. Do you see any messages when engine quits?
