Monksilver Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 (edited) I've just seen a biplane flying over Chepstow, Wales near where I live. At first I thought it was a Bristol Fighter but it it had a distinctive engine like the Westland Wallace below. The plane I saw looked like it could be a Wallace. Anyone know if any are still flying and any ideas what it could have been if not a Wallace? Edited August 26, 2023 by Monksilver
AndyJWest Posted August 26, 2023 Posted August 26, 2023 (edited) Probably the Fly Navy Heritage Trust's Fairey Swordfish, which was due to do a display at Rhyl today. https://navywings.org.uk/flying-programme/ Flight path today. https://www.radarbox.com/data/registration/G-BMGC Edited August 26, 2023 by AndyJWest 1

But I was sure that the engine was exposed with no cowling around it. Can't believe I actually got to see a Stringbag. 1
