Iconic Missions During Campaign

Hi Everyone,

 

I’m about to hit June 6 1944 in my campaign and was thinking of switching to a C47 to drop paratroopers during the early hours. I read in an older thread that iconic missions are sort of integrated into the campaign where PWCG will generate missions around the areas that have major ground activity, which is pretty cool.

 

Did this make it into the current version of PWCG? Has anyone experienced something like flying air cover for a major landing force during the day or escorting many C47’s at night despite it being an unscripted mission?
