Polish Mosquito skin

Hi, I would like to create polish mosquito skin for my mod. Could someone please help me, how to do it in Gimp. I created polish spitfire skin about two years ago and I absolutely cant remember how i did it. I cant even remember where I got the default skin that I edited. I only want to add polish marking on the nose...it cant be that hard, but I just cant remeber.

The base skins are in the first stickied thread in this sub forum. This vid is pretty good for the process...

 

You need to add the paint to the layer you want, or add a new layer in gimp. Then you flatten the image, apply layer mask (aka alpha channel), then export a .dds to the skins folder in the game files. Good luck. If you have specific questions @ me.
