Blitzen Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 (Originally posted over at ATAG yesterday- I use a MS FFB joystick, ,))I love the Wellington and enjoy trying the turrets on same ( I can't hit a thing,) and very occasionally try my luck in the other two engined bombers,BUT recently,I've found that ( using the mouse,as in the past, after hitting F10 and allowing me to take control of he guns ,) I have not been able to fire the guns. They are programmed to use the joystick buttons just as in the past, and apparently this no longer works for turret or hand held weapons. What has apparently changed & what must I do to get then back? Also I can also assign turret movement control to my joystick ( usually I use the mouse, but it is a little counter intuitive,) but so far the guns will respond to up and down ( back and forth using the joystick,) but not to side to side by swiveling the the joystick .Is there something uncooperative in

I find this way you can continue to fly the aircraft while still shooting. I think most of the 'Ace' gunners use this type of setup... that way they can apply control inputs such as rudders to throw off the enemy fighter's aim while at the same time shooting.
Blitzen Posted August 15, 2023 Author Posted August 15, 2023 Will see...but that doesn't explain why I cannot get the guns to work/fire at this time.

Assign a key to the guns... I usually use the spacebar to fire the turret guns... again... avoids conflict with your joystick trigger.

Blitzen Posted August 18, 2023 Author Posted August 18, 2023 Assigning a keystroke to "Fire Current Weapon" in General Settings did the trick! 1
