Even giving us just a few things as simple as providing the rest of the countries' infantry squads just like they created for Normandy would keep Tank Crew going for a while longer. 1 2

It could indeed be different/better (?) regarding controlling those tanks but the simple fact that it got somehow integrated into GB is something I never expected they could pull off! I never bought any game that down the line expanded its scope by in case of il-2 GB with both WWI theatres as well as tank Warfare. This is what makes GB an investment to me more than any other series. The only other title that comes to mind is DCS, but tank Battles in it are sorely lacking in many ways.

Or 1942 Steel Fury with the excellent Japanese made super mod which was a great improvement. Well said. Panzer Elite was the best of its time.
MajorMagee Posted December 21, 2023 Posted December 21, 2023 (edited) FYSA, I was the one who negotiated the limited use rights (non-commercial only) for the original code from Wings that the modding team has been using to continue development of Panzer Elite. Teut was very gracious about it, and loved seeing what we were able to accomplish that his production budget simply didn't allow time for. I also worked with the T34 vs Tiger development team as an alpha tester, and historical advisor for a time, but they also lacked the budget to do the things we knew were required for success in the armor sim market. Spinnetti Posted December 30, 2023 Posted December 30, 2023 A game is only as good as the continued development keeps it alive and modding tools are available for users to do it. TC was a "fire and forget" job outsourced to somebody else. Given its niche status to begin with, static development and little ability for us to mod ourselves I think its just going to slowly die off unfortunately. If that's not the case, work on the infantry, anti-tank guns and get us a 38T Hetzer for gods sake lol. 1

I think in order to raise this new feature to a required standard, a few more hours of homework and revision would be needed. The current state of the new feature is more "gamey" than simulation and will disappear as quickly as it came without any improvements. That would be a great pity for the time spent on it. I hope it wasn't just a few crumbs for us starving tankers for Christmas and has another purpose. 2

I spent a lot of money into IL2 last years, even Tank Crew.. would be fair, IL2 Team would bring us any news after months
