Dumb question - How do I download Desert Wings?

Coming back to Cliffs of Dover after a few years, I downloaded the Blitz edition from Steam to a new laptop.  Everything was fine except it was asking me to buy TOBRUK instead of letting me download it as a DLC.

 

Now I was sure I bought TOBRUK in 2020, but I figured I just meant to buy it but never got around to it.  Then today I see it in my list of purchases on the IL2 Sturmovik website!

 

I saw that both Cliffs of Dover and Desert Wings were purchased but not activated.  So why was I able to download CLoD and not TOBRUK?

Cliffs of Dover - Blitz and Desert Wings - Tobruk are a single download, they are not separate games. Technically, Tobruk is a DLC for Blitz.

Are you sure you have not downloaded Tobruk? Can you fly Spitfire V, Bf 109F, Fiat CR.42, Gladiator, or Wellington?

Thanks, Josp.  I do not have the Spitfire V or Bf 109F of the planes you mentioned.  I only have single missions for the English Channel 1940 and only have these campaigns:

Alder Angriff
Cliffs Of Dover
Their Finest Hour
Their Greatest Challenge
 

I definitely don't see anything related to the North Africa map.

See what the key is on your purchase receipt from the il2 store (here on this site). 

 

You can add it in Steam to enable it. 

 

Go to steam, open your library and right click Blitz. There will be options for it. In one of the tabs you will be able to select Tobruk under DLC. It should the update your game with the additional content. I can't recall where you input the key, but it should be there too. 

 

In any case, do a search here. I've posted this before with more precise instructions.

Thanks, J-Hat.  I found under Steam > Settings the Library tab which has a button for Active a Product.

Putting in the license key from my account on IL2Sturmovik activated Tobruk and now the DLC is downloading.   ?
