Bear1 Posted July 30, 2023 Posted July 30, 2023 Trim (elevator and Aileron) binds but hat movement (#7 on stick) will not cause the trim to move. Only a problem with IL2......MSFS works fine. Ideas?

Can bind keyboard inputs to activate trim...works fine. Don't want to have to use the keyboard. What a puzzle. Have reloaded Il2. No joy. There HAS to be a simple, here's what you have screwed up, explanation. GOT IT !!! MtnBiker is correct...the axis has to be mapped also....BUT....unless you input up and down VERY QUICKLY, the binding is up/up (or down/down) and nothing works. QUICK movement to get it to recognize both switches. Ahhhhhhh. It ain't easy being a mere mortal. Edited July 30, 2023 by Bear1
