Micro stutters with updates

I haven't played this game in about a month, the game updates with I don't know how many updates (1?) and the game is stuttering like crazy. I usually get between 50-70 FPS. Nothing software wise has changed on my computer. It's unplayable. Anyone else experiencing this? Thank you.

I suspect it's a windows update issue as it has affected many gamers, especially on windows 10.
