Ok…so I have these……with a story….

Alright, so everybody remembers when the young American gentleman was in North Korea and imprisoned for “stealing” DPRK propaganda posters off a hotel wall?

 

We  also remember he was sent home in a comatose state, and succumbed a few days or so, later.   Most people suspected he was probably beaten and tortured in the DPRK, only to be sent home to die, publicly.  
 

Well, I know a couple at church who were hired as  “English teachers” in the DPRK to teach children English. Most were of the elite class in Pyongyang.   

My wife works with the woman who went. 

 

They were in fact missionaries using the guise of being English teachers to spread the gospel.   They actually went and stayed for 2 years with their 2 year old daughter. 
 

They eventually decided to leave, because they wanted more children and came back to Canada to grow their family.  
 

Several years have past, they now have 2 kids and are settled in back at home.   Needless to say they wanted to have a garage sale, and came across some items they brought back from the DPRK.  
 

The lady we know asked if I would like some propaganda posters she had, knowing full well I love history and propaganda posters.   
 

I couldn’t believe it!!!   For real.   
 

Here’s what they gave me.  
 

 

I don’t think they fully realized what they did or what may have happened to them.
