Engine timers regarding Fw190 A-8 boost

After having engine problems after boosting for only around 5 minutes in the Fw 190 A-8, I decided to do some testing.

I found that just above sea level (which you must be at or lower to get the full 1.58ata), I got the full amount of time for boost before getting the technochat message that the the emergency time had expired.  It was actually more than 10 minutes - 12 minutes 44 seconds.

I started the test over, this time at 1000m altitude, and with 100% throttle, 2700 RPM, and boost enabled, I was doing 1.42ata.  This lasted for 5 minutes 9 seconds.

Once again, at 2000m, 1.28ata.  6 minutes 2 seconds.

Again, 3000m, 2nd supercharger gear, full 1.65ata.  10 minutes exactly.

4000m,  full 1.65ata, 5 minutes 38 seconds.  This was odd to me as so far, it seemed like not having full boost was somehow causing the engine timer to expire faster.

5000m, 1.62ata.  11 minutes, 11 seconds.

6000m, 1.45ata.  5 minutes, 38 seconds.

7000, 1.29ata.  5 minutes, 58 seconds.

Every single time the recharge time was the same, right about 10 minutes.

As far as I know and have seen, every other plane in this sim with combat, emergency, boost, etc. will only extend the timer if you do either less manifold pressure, less RPM, or both.  For some reason with the Fw 190 A-8, you get a shorter timer when, due to being above critical altitude, you have less than full manifold pressure.  There were a couple odd instances like at 4000m and 5000m.  Regardless, unless you are right on the deck, or the lowest altitude you can be at in 2nd gear, you cannot count on getting 10 minutes, and this is especially a problem in multiplayer where there is no notification that your timer has expired; you've got people ruining their engine in multiplayer because they thought they could count on 10 minutes of boost.  And while i'm here, a somewhat off-topic question:  Why does multiplayer not give you the engine timer expired notification, even if that multiplayer server has technochat?  I may be wrong but from what I've been told, there is no option for the server operator to add or remove this as an option.  And you still get the notification that your combat/emergency/etc. power has recovered if you used up a good portion of it originally.

I assume this is a bug?  If not, can you please explain how this situation would put more stress on an engine?

I guess the game registers certain boost setting as with injection (10min)

and then those around 1.42 ata as without (3min) even though injection might be enabled

But why the "4000m,  full 1.65ata, 5 minutes 38 seconds"? I have no idea.

The whole timer mechanic is currently not very transparent, add a not working techno chat, that makes it quite frustrating.

The Option to turn of this mechanic should be implemented asap.

Timer expired techcat messages are buged, its explained what when how, but they dont care

Its not SP or MP thing, its bug where only thouse techchat messages do not show up if you turn on only techchat, they show up if you turn on techchat AND instrument panel, thats why you see them when you run tests and not in MP, as no serious server will have instrument panel option on. And it makes no logic that engine timer expired recovered techchat messages are turned on by this.

You have airplanes that have random fail and airplanes that dont have it with how they decided to not fix simple bug or implement this system they use, 190a8 is one of random fail airplanes yak-9 is not, just fly yak-9
