I thought this was somewhat relevant to the CLoD timeframe and location!

 

Soon to be followed by the rear fuselage and tail unit; the former has already been constructed though not yet assembled, and funds are being raised for the latter. Thereafter it's hoped to reconstruct all remaining components of the aircraft to a static condition.

I think that's from an old fibreglass replica! Or perhaps a wood/fabric aircraft going by the red dope underneath.

It's one I'm desperate to have in ANY sim and done to a high quality at that. The IL-2 1946 mod just isn't cutting it for me.

Tricky perspective problem... it was painted from the cockpit when the plane still was in one piece...
