Giving the command to bomb manually

Sometimes I arrive on the target but cant see the ground enemy.

Then I get the command(Iam leader of the squadron) "destroy ground targets"

Is it possible to give to command from the communications menu? When eyes are on the target.

Not sure what you're asking here. You can drop your bombs at any moment by pressing the related key, regardless of if you have eyes on target or not. Your AI wingmen will drop their bombs at the same time as you do, again regardless of whether or not you can see the target.

You could always have icons activated, bearing in mind that you can switch them on and off at will.

Thus you're able to identify where your targets are more quickly.

It's a shame icons in this game are horrendous.

I usually fly with Icons off. Its part of the fun to spot the enemy I think.

If it is moving, it is pretty easy as you can see its headlights very good. I used this in Juri's 'Nightfighters over the Kuban' campaign in the mission in which you have to defend a friendly truck convoy, to know where the trucks are.

My experience with that is, my squadmates never hit anything, when I give the command by myself. What should work is, slow down a bit and see where your flight is attacking. With the game automated command, they should attack on their own, as they do, when you have an AI flightleader.
